Expert Witness
Living Free Health Services offers an Expert Witness Service. Some staff members are qualified expert witnesses. These professionals have been qualified by the courts as possessing knowledge, skill, experience, training, and education to provide a specialized opinion about the evidence or fact which is helpful in understanding the testimony or in determining facts at the court.
Increasingly, defense attorneys are finding themselves defending clients for whom the ingestion of alcohol and wide variety of other drugs plays a significant role in their lives and by consequence plays an equally important role in their defense. The vocabularies of clinical assessment, diagnosis and clinical counseling often differ greatly from that of jurisprudence. Experts, who understand this and are "bi-lingual" are extremely useful in case preparation of actual testimony work.
